04.01.2012 // Dynasty Hires Northeast Sales Manager

Dynasty USA/ DEG Music Products Inc. is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Rudy Gowern as
the Northeast Sales Manager.


“Rudy will bring an amazing spark to this territory. His vast knowledge in the music industry will help us grow in the Northeast territory and throughout the country!” said Mark Reynolds VP of Sales and Marketing for Dynasty USA.

Mr. Gowern will be starting his new job on April 1st, 2012.

More about Rudy Gowern:

Rudy Gowern has been involved in the marching arts activity since 1977. As a performing member throughout 15 seasons he marched with the Heightsman from 1977-1983, the Citations 1986, St. Anthony's or Revere 1987, the Boston Crusaders from 1988-1992 and aged out of the 1993 Star of Indiana World Championship percussion section.   

Mr. Gowern’s DCI teaching experience includes the Magic of Orlando, the Citations, the Boston Crusaders and the Crossmen. Mr. Gowern most recently served as percussion coordinator for the Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners.

Before joining the Marching Southerners band staff, Mr. Gowern served as the Director of Percussion Activities for Mt Juliet High School, King Philip Regional High School, and was the percussion arranger for the Boston College Screaming Eagles Marching Band and the Boston University WGI Indoor Percussion Ensemble. 

Mr. Gowern is an active percussion adjudicator for the Indiana Percussion Association, the Musical Arts Conference, New England Scholastic Band Association, Southeastern Color Guard Circuit, the Louisiana Percussion Circuit and the Gulf-coast Percussion Circuit. 

Mr. Gowern attended the University of Massachusetts and Jacksonville State University for Music Education. He has held the position of Director of Product Marketing, Marching Arts for Conn-Selmer, Inc., Marketing Product Manager for the Pearl Corporation and Assistant Director of Education and Artist Relations for Vic Firth, Inc.
