This Octobor, Okayama, Japan hosted the 23rd “Marching in Okayama” festival and drum corps championship. Dynasty was a leading sponsor of the event, and is proud to announce that Dynasty ensemble, The Yokohama Scouts, won top honors once again!

Dynasty artist Paul Rennick was also appointed as official music judge of the competition which was sponsored by Dynasty Japan, Dynasty USA, FJM, and Drillmasters. Of the contest, Paul Rennick said "The Okayama Marching Festival was a treat.  Seeing performers at all age levels, even 3 and 4 years old, showed me the depth of the musical programs in that part of Japan.  It was a pleasure to be on the judging panel, offering advice to the staffs and members to help them to reach an even higher level of achievement.  It gave a me a new understanding of the universal language of music.  Bravo to all the performers."

Other judges included Joe Allison, Steve Ulicny, Dale White, Michael Gaines, Masahiro Kato, Katsumi Okawa, and Masayoshi Ishikawa.

Congratulations to the staff and performers of the Yokohama Scouts, and thank you to Paul Rennick for representing Dynasty overseas!
