11.14.2005 // Dynasty USA at PASIC 2005

Dynasty USA introduced at this convention its newest instrument in the melodic percussion family, and announced their entry into the world of artist level marimbas. The Mark Ford (University of North Texas and Immediate Past President of PAS) Signature marimba was displayed for the very first time. This 5 octave rosewood world class instrument received many favorable reviews from the world's premier marimba players and teachers. We knew this new instrument would be a hit, but the quality and the workmanship....and the reception....was a pleasant surprise. There are many unique features on this marimba, which is perfect for the professional marimbist, college studios and serious players of the marimba.

Also on display was a 16x36" Dynasty Bass Drum with the new Dynasty Suspended Bass Drum Stand. This ultra-heavy duty stand completely isolates the bass drum from the stand with rubber suspension cords, and the full ring and drum are easily height adjustable...a real plus for multiple percussion work in the pit. This is the most heavy duty stand available on the market, yet is surprisingly affordable. All of our Dynasty customers are going to be very interested in this new stand. The new Dynasty Professional Chimes, with a new sleek and slender chime tube cap. As you can see from the picture, the profile of the chime tube is different, yet this new cap is much more durable and reliable than the usual design. Plans are for this chime set to be offered in chrome plated finish very soon, also. Finally the University of North Texas Drum Line was there with Paul and Sandi Rennick. They were simply incredible at the PASIC Marching Percussion Festival. Enjoy the photos!
