Discover Kenyon Wilson

A tuba and euphonium instructor, Kenyon Wilson, D.M.A., was awarded a

Lecturing Fulbright to teach at the Baku Music Academy, the national

conservatory of Azerbaijan. Baku, the capital city, is located on a

peninsula in the Caspian Sea.



Wilson's duties as a Fulbright included teaching a brass pedagogy class

at the academy and performing a series of solo recitals featuring the music

of current American composers. Wilson is the first Fulbright Scholar

from the arts area to visit Azerbaijan.
