Discover John Schindler

John Schindler is a percussionist and teacher in Bowling Green, OH. He is currently studying instrumental music education at Bowling Green State University. John has performed in a wide array of ensembles including marching band, percussion ensemble, orchestra, wind ensemble, and symphonic band while at BGSU. He also performs regularly in the northwest Ohio area with the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra and the Firelands Symphony Orchestra. John graduated from Avon High School in Avon, OH in 2001. He has also been an assistant percussion instructor there since graduating. John is currently the percussion instructor/arranger at Springfield High School in Holland, OH where he teaches marching percussion and percussion ensemble. John is also the assistant percussion director and arranger for Wauseon High School in Wauseon, OH where he currently teaches marching/pit percussion and concert percussion ensemble. John teaches percussion lessons in and around northwest Ohio. John is also affiliated with the Percussive Arts Society and the Ohio Music Education Association.
