Ledford Indoor Percussion Ensembles / LIPE
The Ledford Indoor Percussion Ensembles feature two scholastic marching indoor groups comprised of students at Ledford High School and Ledford Middle School in Thomasville, North Carolina. The Varsity ensemble has been competing in the Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) since 2004 and at WGI events since 2006. The group has earned silver medalist honors twice at the PSA class circuit level and has been an AIA championships finalist for six consecutive years. The ensemble was also a finalist at the 2008 WGI Spartanburg Percussion regional and a participated in the 2009 WGI Indoor Percussion World Championships.
In their second competitive season, Ledfords JV ensemble is comprised of 13 middle school students and a number of high school underclassmen. The group competes locally in Novice class at AIA events in addition to having a number of exhibition performances scheduled in 2011.
Ledford High is proud to have called themselves a member of the Dynasty family since 2002. They are under the direction of Lenny Keesee with assistance from Justin Belcher, Jordan Arnett and Jonan Keeny. They are sponsored by the Ledford Band Boosters, Inc. and TriadDVD Solutions, LLC.
