Discover Wayne Dillon



Wayne Dillon holds a Masters degree in jazz performance from the University of Miami (Fl). He received his Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from York University in Toronto Canada. He is currently the director of bands at Elizabeth H.S. in Elizabeth NJ. Wayne has provided numerous clinics and consultations to Bands and Drum corps throughout the United States, Canada and Japan. In 1992 and 1999, Wayne judged the prestigious DCI finals competition in Madison Wisconsin.

He is an active adjudicator for Bands of America, as well as many other band associations. From 2000-2002, Wayne served on the brass staff of the eight-time world champion Cadets of Bergen County. In 2002, he served as the brass caption head. Last season, Wayne served as a music consultant for the Capital Regiment drum and bugle corps from Columbus Ohio. This year he will be serving as their program coordinator. Wayne is also a performing artist and clinician for Weril musical instruments.



Wayne lives near Allentown Pa. with his wife Colleen and their three children, Shayna, Spencer and Lauren.
